What is this?

StickiWiki is a free-content multimedia encyclopedia of knowledge about the Chapman Stick. The idea behind StickiWiki is to provide resources for Stick players to become more knowlegeable and proficient regarding all aspects of the Stick. We envision that the site will include information about technique, tutorials, music theory, adjustments, accessories and many other topics of interest to Stick enthusiasts.

Contributing

The StickiWiki site allows the Stick community to collaborate to provide the best and most complete information from many sources in a central location. To that end, we invite participation by anyone who is interested in contributing. Please understand, however, that to make the site friendly to readers and keep it out of lawsuits we have policies that contributors need to follow. Also, because the site is a collaboration, a spirit of compromise and a willingness to have your contributions modified by others is needed. If you can live with this we welcome your participation.

History

StickiWiki was created in 2005 in a collaboration between Matt Perry, who hosts the site, and Vance Gloster.
