Magick Spells and energy circulating music
From StickiWiki
Scales and chords are really ancient magick spells. They have a mathematic formula, which in turn creates distinct energetic results. It can be summoned by strictly playing within the given framework of a scale, while choosing within the grids of notes. Note selection should be creative, and the notes should be treated pretty much equally.
All the shapes with two or more notes are the chords/arpeggios. They should be chosen on a personal basis, with some regard for hand comfort. Big stretches are possible, but it should feel physically good. Many chords can be generated from each grid, with an infinite number of modulations and rhythmic coordination. Chord progressions can be made from the visual knowledge of a particular harmony. The energy contained in each scale will start to gain power as familiarity increases. Next, it is grasped and becomes second nature to cast energy wave spells. Finally, it would be interesting, and possibly illegal (on restricted planet sectors), to use chord substitutions/outside notes. However, this form of mixing notes can destabilize the starship that is being operated. So it is important to command the controls with precision.
These are optimized for a single hand zone on the fretboard. The first will go forwards, and the second one goes backwards. In the first example there is a third one, but once you see how the puzzle works it will be unnecessary to show it again. With this method there is at least an eight fret span. Assuming that you cover four frets going forwards and backwards from the root. With both hands in the equation, this opens a strategic field. The only thing the keep in mind is the amount of frets you have to work with without either running into another hand or going out of the desired range. Besides that the game is an intuitive web of intricate note selections. This enables the memorization of a huge range, also making it easy to pivot around and explore. Each pattern is equally usable on either side, there is just no need for redundancy. After the fingers understand what is going on, it should expand out into infinite directions as a mirror of the self-transforming machine elves.
1 & 2 Harmonic minor
3 - Shown on the treble side. Now see how the parts flow together, while using a different one in each hand and connecting them. Then you can alternate between them and move along the board as desired. Also try using the same part in each hand for less computation and a singular focus. Keep in mind the transposable nature of the Stick, these are shown with low roots for simplicity.
Now we perceive the Diminished tonality.
Now onto the Minor pentatonic (interchangeable with Major pentatonic)
Into the abyss of...Minor
This next one was used in the ancient times to melt brains... Augmented
Then to balance the insanity... Major
Appearance of the... Melodic minor.
MODES- Change the root note to another scale note. Each will have a unique color/harmony. There are chords that go with every one. It may be nice to view some of the modes as individual scales. For example - within the major scale there is the half diminished scale. You could view this as the major scale starting on the 7. Or you could see it as a bit more separate with all its arpeggios and chords in a different light. It is a matter of circumstance and mental preference.
First time quick run through these scales, accurate so far.
