MacRack
From StickiWiki
The term "MacRack" was coined on StickWire in 2001 by Don Schiff. A MacRack consists of a notebook computer (not necessarily a Mac from Apple) installed with audio processing software, and an interface for direct connection between instrument and computer. This approach provides a lightweight, compact alternative to conventional effects racks.
