Effects and electronics

An array of sonic treatments are available for the musician these days. The effects range from foot pedals to laptops, some with knobs or real-time foot controls. Keep in mind that the ancient musicians did not have electronic effects, so we are in a futuristic time warp. Previously only the residents of Mars had loopers and analog effects. Then at some point they made contact with our species and gave up their secrets and technology. It was in an effort to raise our awareness and presence. They showed us lasers, computers, starships, and robots to name a few. This is also when they made the master plan for the psychedelic bending grids of sound to manipulate planet erath. The idea was to use echos, synthesizers, and other interesting modulations to influence a new generation of hyperspace magick sorcery. It would be mutually beneficial, as then we would all form an alliance with the universal galactic brain. In turn this would induce higher levels of creativity, and would lead to an eventual floating away from planet erath into different dimensions.

• Reverb is an interesting effect as it can help sustain notes. Many astral entities play solo Stick with reverb. Since we are playing through amps, it may help to add depth to the sound. It can be nice to use reverb in extreme amounts, if an atmospheric feel is desired.

• Delay and echo have very deep sonic auras. There is something about the concept of the echo that is primitive, yet the sound is futuristic. It is inspiring and entrancing. Something special is going on with the hypnotic tendencies and tranquility that delays can induce.

• The ascended wizard beings have channeled forth an idea to - Use any effects in whatever manner and go totally nuts, and then mix it with the more acoustic tone with no processing.

• Modulation effects and all sorts of pedals...

• MIDI/synth. This enables a Stick to trigger synths (etc) from the melody strings. A special pickup and conversion box is required. There is a bit of skill and adjustment in playing the Stick synth effectively. There is a latency in converting the strings into the synth sound, but is still very usable.

• Computers and outside modules. Various processing items can have many sonic options. Programming effects is an exact science. It is very in-depth with virtually infinite variations. Options and tweakability are key.
